J. D. Fowler, a Baltimore native, is the President and CEO of J.D. Fowler Production, including J.D. Fowler Multimedia Network Inc. He is a playwright, actor, composer, musician, producer, director, singer, radio, and television personality. He has written, produced, directed, and starred in more than fifteen productions. He has hosted the hit cable television shows SPREAD THE NEWS & GOSPEL HORIZONS.
He has served as Program and Music Director of WEBB-AM radio station, Gospel Division and Program and Music producer of WJRO-AM radio station, where he transformed the station from a daytime only folk music format, to a 24-hour Christian/ Gospel station in Glen Burnie, MD. He has also served as producer and host of “In Search of Greater Faith” radio broadcast at WLNO-AM radio in New Orleans, LA and producer and host of Morgan City, Louisiana's top radio station KBZE-FM,” Breakfast with the Bishop”.
